About us

The Kuttikal home is an ancient family having a tradition in agriculture and prawns farming for over 180 years. Eventhough scientific approaches to farming has been incorporated of late, they still stick on to the traditional methods on major areas. There are various activities everyday in over 20 acres of their agricultural land.

Xavier, the family head and his wife Leelamma are still actively involved in various activities in the farms which include:

Prawns & Fish Culture.

Paddy Cultivation.

Coconut & Banana farming.

Chinese Fishing Net(Cheenavala).

Benny, their son manages the homestay. He is a mechanical engineer, Postgraduate in coastal Zone Management and is an ardent environment loyalist apart from being an agriculturist. His Wife, Anju , a homemaker is excellent in her culinary skills and will set your taste buds ringing.
